The CPLP credentialing process is designed for training and development professionals who meet the following requirements:
- Have at least five (5) years of experience in the training and development field.
- Have a deep knowledge of instructional design, training delivery, and improving human performance.
- Can apply training and development principles in a work setting.
- Have a working knowledge of advanced and specialized training and development topics (coaching, integrated talent management, and so on); but may lack deep expertise in these areas.
- Typically perform work that is more operational in nature, as opposed to strategic.
